Enabling the Industrial Sector in Egypt to Go Green

Marketing strategy, branding and digital presence for a sustainable energy financing facility.

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) launched a $30 million project in Egypt to promote energy efficiency applications in the industrial sector. As the sector suffers a downturn post Arab Spring, the need for promoting the global project in Egypt becomes more challenging. As the Chief Marketing Expert through the Regional Center for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (RCREEE), Dr. Emad AbouElgheit, founder and president of Stratigal, worked with global and local engineers, bankers and donors to develop a 2-year marketing strategy. He also led the creation of the financing facility brand, marketing materials and multilingual website.
